do you know where i can buy a chinese language textbook for english speakers? I think this will be a easier?
of learning chinese mandrian, because they usually have lessons and even have practice homework in them, most include cd roms and/or audio cds ....i need the names and authors of some good textbooks i can buy online........and i live in the U.S
It's probably more difficult to find them in traditional mandarin. Listen! I suggest you to learn the kind of pinyin Taiwanese people use. this will do you better than learn pinyin most student use to learn chinese, especially when you want to learn traditional Chinese. That pinyin system is called 注音符號.(sorry that you need BIG5 too see the characters) It's created based on Chinese character writings. And it will make you forget English prononciation while you employ that. Most people have foreign accent because on seeing the letters, they think of their language's pronunciations. American accented French is a good example. When you first star to learn, don't try to read the words on a book. You can try to listen to some Chinese radio stations online so that you 'll get used to the pronunciation. Sorry that I'm a little off the topic, but I hope you can do well. Bon chance!!
