Anyone familiar with French / French Jazz music?
Hello to you all! I am hoping one of you know what I am talking about. I aplogize in advance for having very minimal information to work with. I am trying to remember this song I heard in French (but I have heard it in English before, not sure where it originated first). There's not much beat in the background, it's a pretty simple tune behind the singer, sorta pop, pop, pop, very frenchy and pretty. It is definitely not a new song because I can almost remember the melody when I was very young. I would consider it to be jazzy, very sweet, simple, catchy... Almost like your walking in Paris on your way to a cafe. It's very classic and I'm sure many of you know what it is, I just don't have any lyrics or anything any more specific then what I have provided. Thanks, again! BTW, it's a female singer.
In might be La Vie En Rose (sp?). I have heard it a few times, from different singers. I think Edith Piaf used to sing it.
