Philadelphia wasn’t the first movie about AIDS (it followed such worthy independent films as Parting Glances and Longtime Companion), but it was the first Hollywood studio picture to take AIDS as its primary subject. In that sense, Philadelphia is a historically important film. As such, it’s worth remembering that director Jonathan Demme (Melvin and Howard, Something Wild, The Silence of the Lambs…

The case has hundreds of twists and takes our hero–a steady, respec…

What’s the difference between the French legal system and Queenslands?

Would anyone tell me please the difference between these two? Your help will b very much appreciated.

Thanks

You mean Queensland’s? In Australia? How soon do you need to know? The French legal system is based on the Napoleonic Code, and I’m guessing (though I don’t actually know) that Australia’s is based on the British system. This isn’t the kind of question you get an answer to in two minutes; it’s a whole essay subject.
