Blade Runner [VHS] $3.80 When Ridley Scott’s cut of Blade Runner was finally released in 1993, one had to wonder why the studio hadn’t done it right the first time–11 years earlier. This version is so much better, mostly because of what’s been eliminated (the ludicrous and redundant voice-over narration and the phony happy ending) rather than what’s been added (a bit more character development and a brief unicorn dream)…. |

People on Sunday (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] $21.91 Co-directed by Edgar G. How do German people react with Hitler today?
When Germans hear his name today, how do they respond? If you call them a nazi, how would they respond? Do some people like Hitler because he was a true German? How do Germans from nazi decent respond to nazis?
Well I am NOT German, but I lived and studied there for many years….I admire the way the Germans (most of them) threat that point. Theye are extremly sensible about that part of their history and are very hounest (or have been forced to be after the War 1945 by the USA and others)….
Every time there is a Nazi-demonstartion there, there is surely an Antinazi-demonstration too. I mean, I wish every nation would be so honest and would try to make some things good, like the Germans do that (when I think about the Armenian Genocide by the Turkey or others who don’t act that way….)….
I think even through the history the Germans developed some criticism and self criticism in everything which is very healthy…I miss it in the USA rather…
There are NOT more nazis in the Germany than in other countries….
Best wishes!
