You have to take classes, don’t you? Then a rabbi “tests” you..
It sounds scary. A lot of pressure in only a few years, and I’m not the best when it comes to social settings.
Plus, you never hear about spanish Jews.

Don’t worry about the test – its an “open book” final, so to speak. The rabbi wants to know that you have the basics down and will work with you one-on-one on parts you’re weak in.
It isn’t scary at all, I found it an absolute delight and I am the ultimate house-mouse.
