I need pictures of Shag Styles From the 60′s & 70′s?
Hello,
I am looking for a certin hair sytle and some people say it is a older shag. I have long straight hair and I want short chunky (blunt) layers.I am going to keep my hair straight also. I want them to start a little ways down from the top and continue all the way down kind like some spanish skirts I guess. Does any one know what I am trying to get at?? What it’s called?? I have looked all over the internet but no luck. Maybe not a older shag.

What you are asking for is sometimes called a shag, but tell your hairdresser that you want it to flip at the ends. Basically, it’s just heavily layered from the mid-point down. Many times it is cut using a razor to get that piecey look.
