Looking for a used french horn...?
Like to spend less than $100 - need something that plays. I'm looking to pick up the instrument...any suggestions? Anyone looking to sell one?
Eh... $100? For a horn that is nearly impossible... If you want to spend under 100 dollars, I recommend the recorder... But... There are some options. Look on Craig's list online or eBay... Or a local trading post. You might be able to find some cheaper ones, but 100 dollars will be very unlikely. If at all possible, have somebody play the instrument for you before you buy a used one. Like your teacher... That is only if the instruments are near you... I'm trying to sell a saxophone. Wanna buy that! =] But yeah. There's plenty of places you can look... Also try looking at schools. Some schools let people (if they go to the school... You high school aged?) borrow the instruments. You might try renting... ? Eh... Most of the time renting programs are a bit rip off but sometimes they are worth it... Good luck! --Schumiszt
